Port Douglas reef report 3rd Jan

With conditions perfect and my new filleting knife I got for xmas needing christening, a days relaxing using livebait for my elusive Spanish was in order.
Had 2 hits and landed 2 fish one about 20lb the other about 30lb. Had fish for dinner last night had fish for dinner tonight got fish for dinner tom :)

We had some great sport on light tackle catching mac tuna to 12lb.

We also had a few trout and another 1 spanish.

Another fish off my list, just need some big reds next. I've been giving a few marks around 90 to 100 feet just of pixie reef, but I've never gone for them before, so any help would be great.
