Port Douglas reef report 3rd Jan

With conditions perfect and my new filleting knife I got for xmas needing christening, a days relaxing using livebait for my elusive Spanish was in order.
Had 2 hits and landed 2 fish one about 20lb the other about 30lb. Had fish for dinner last night had fish for dinner tonight got fish for dinner tom


We had some great sport on light tackle catching mac tuna to 12lb.




We also had a few trout and another 1 spanish.

Another fish off my list, just need some big reds next. I've been giving a few marks around 90 to 100 feet just of pixie reef, but I've never gone for them before, so any help would be great.
