A few weeks ago I took the family out to Tangalooma and my 16YO daughter caught her PB snapper. This footage has been backed up to DVD, External Hard disk, on youtube and I am thinking of getting my own vault at the bank to store a copy there, just in case. ::) What father would not be more proud.:D

Great stuff Scalem, pink shine is leathal on the snapps and quite a prodigy you have there mate I notice the retrieval action was spot on, and the smile said it all. Cheers mate, Shawno.

Fought that fish like a seasoned pro. The Snapper never stood a chance. Well done Kelly. You would be a proud dad after that effort Scalem.;)

What outfit was that on?, did the job nicely.

The rig is a Berkley dropshot 3-5kg with Penn Applause 4000 and 10 lb braid/ 12 lb rock flurocarbon leader - it's only a $250.00 rig including line. It's interesting that I didn't have a chance for a long overdue service to the Drag washers, so she struggled to control the fish earlier in the fight ( before Mum started rolling with the vid)

Ssshh Yep you are right about the pink shine Shawno. :-X Out with old Nuke Chook, in with the new. You would think she has had a lot of practice, but no, only a handful of outings, recently catching nice flathead to 67cm the same way. Maybe now she will become a more frequent fisherperson::)
