What you should be doing at 16YO

A few weeks ago I took the family out to Tangalooma and my 16YO daughter caught her PB snapper. This footage has been backed up to DVD, External Hard disk, on youtube and I am thinking of getting my own vault at the bank to store a copy there, just in case. What father would not be more proud.

The rig is a Berkley dropshot 3-5kg with Penn Applause 4000 and 10 lb braid/ 12 lb rock flurocarbon leader - it's only a $250.00 rig including line. It's interesting that I didn't have a chance for a long overdue service to the Drag washers, so she struggled to control the fish earlier in the fight ( before Mum started rolling with the vid)

Ssshh Yep you are right about the pink shine Shawno. Out with old Nuke Chook, in with the new. You would think she has had a lot of practice, but no, only a handful of outings, recently catching nice flathead to 67cm the same way. Maybe now she will become a more frequent fisherperson
