wilson live fibre bait casters ?
Afternoon everyone'
Has anyone had any experience with the wilson live fibre range of baitcasters,my main query is about their strength do they have much power in the but I will be using 20 lb fire line all feed back on this line of rod's would be greatly appreciated.

hey cajun, all depends on the model, ive a 20kg rated one and it takes it like a bitch.

Yep i wanted to ask the same question, looking at the 6kg? model for a calcutta 250 with 30lb braid. What are they like? Worth $140?

They have plenty of strength. Live Fibre would have to be one of the best value baitcaster rods around, though I think pacific composites are equally under-rated.

For an off the shelf rod I can not speak to highly of the livefibre range. So long as you pick the model to suit your purpose, I am sure you will be very happy with the strength and raw fish stopping power. As Bubby said there are some good blanks in the pacific composite range too. Some of the blanks I have seen lately have been very impresive.

Thank's everyone for your'e input we will be chasing mainly barra and jack's in some fairly rough country.I knew there had to be another line of rods besides Loomis around.Once again thank's everyone I will definetly give one a go.
