ok i'v just resurched all this and so far i have found out that the order goes (or so i'v been told)
stella as the top
then the sustain
then the stradic of which i have got two that are both three years old and thousands of fish old and still working like new,
then the symetre that i have just brought one of,
then the sahara
then sedona and fanally
the sienna there are toher below that but they are then getting into the cheapes
i belive that you can't go wrong with a shimano and woule rather them then any other reels![]()
I've got a Stradic 1000FH, and I'm not real happy with it. Couple of bearings have gone, and I reckon the spool diametre is too small. I'd rather use my Regal X.

I fish because the little voices in my head tell me to
dale, they tell me the sustain has a ten year warranty on all the bearings. I have a couple of diawa 1500,s and think they are great but the little sustain feels silky smooth with the fluid drive.

i reckon ur better off buying 2 stradics instead of 1 sustain, ive even heard a rep saying.. for a couple of extra ball bearings.. there isnt a whole lot of difference between the sustain and stradic.. dale might not like them, but i own 3.. and i think they are fantastic!

Ended up buying the sustain as i was talking to a bloke who has a couple of stradic's and a sustain and he said that after a bit of punishment there is no comparison.
