    TLD bearings

    shimano have just released new types of bearings for there TLDs. there sposed to be less prone to rust and siezing up then the standard ones, ive just put them in one of my reels so time will tell. they also recon there guarenteed to catch fish il just have to field test them then...

    I just go down to the local bolt, nut and bearing place and take the originals down, they give me the sealed stainless bearings for a fraction of the price ( between 6 and 11 dollars each). replaced the bearings in the tld 20, 25 and 30, a 6500 and a tss4 over the time, no probs. As you say time will tell if it was a good move

    Same here, found a place called " miniature Bearings". they supplied bearings for the TLD20. $6.15 each.
