down riggers
Hi All
Has any one clipped a small burley pot above the down rigger bomb, maybe 6" above, or have thoughts on a hollow bomb that can be filled with burley or maybe just tuna oil.
your thoughts please
cheers

Re: down riggers
What about sacrificing a few grams by drilling a 10mm hole 20mm deep. Then soak a piece of matteress type foam in tuna oil to be place inside, or a smaller diameter hole but deeper that the oil can be poured into then capped/plugged off with foam firm enough only to let a bit out over time. nq

Re: down riggers
Dont Know about burley blaze, but ive seen plenty of home made reflective attracting devices. One pro mackeral fishermen pollishes his prop regularly and runs little stainless spinning devices off the back of the bombs. i guess if the fish see a flash and investigate it the lure or bait are going to be well positioned for a strike, makes sense to me! Does anyone else do things like this for say hoo and the like?...foxy
