Leaders

G-Day All For year’s I have been a bit lazy and have been using a variety of packet wire leaders and had reasonable success. Lately, however I have had little success around Pumistone passage and deception bay. I have been trying all sorts of different methods resulting in next to nothing worthwhile to take home. As a review on what the am I doing wrong, I am looking at using fluorocarbon leaders, like “vanish”, as mentioned in another topic.

I would like to know if anyone has particular likes and dislikes for either leader. And does it really matter which one you use?

Yep go and buy some you may have more success in the future......Every little bit helps to fool the fish as they are getting smarter these days..lol

I'm using, and have always used, Jenkai. Not sure if that's how it is spelt, but you will get the idea when you go to the tackle shop. There is also, I think it is called, Black Magic, although the memory isn't serving to well at the moment.
Have a chat to the tackle shop and they can help you out.
