Since switching to stren a year or so ago we have had no problems, apart from when Rob thought 8 was 10kg line Stren is way more abrasion resistant than something like hawk tournament and lasts longer. Until I am shown something better, I will be using stren for all our trolling lines. In sydney your best bet is probably getting it from Gameboats.
