    Norman speed clip

    Afternoon everyone,
Has anyone had any experience with norman speed clips with lure's in saltwater situations. Just wondering if they are strong enough to handle the like's of jack's and barra.
    Thank's

I've used them without any trouble on jacks and barra. Out of all the snaps the these and the Hawaii snaps are the best.

The other ones haven't worked for me

Only one thing use larger one not the little one. The little ones are good fo rlight stuff too but fail at about 20lb of tension on a spring scale.

Same deal, I have used both small and large Norman speed clips for some years now and find them realy good, but prefer the Hawaii clip for larger critters.
Both types can be hard to use when your hands are wet, the Normans tend to twist between the fingers.
The Hawaii clips are strongly sprung and are hard to fit also if hands are wet, I find by putting my thumb nail between the ends you can separate it and clip in your lure easier.
