Still plenty up North Coast around Coffs. I have caught a good run of winter jew but with the flat seas for two weeks now you can dive and see them there but they are not going to bite.

We have introduced a licence system down here specifically to fund these sorts of projects.

Nice to know some of our money is being spent and that the common fisherman is being involved in the process.

I'll be in contact Butch for the bream. As for mulloway.... if you can get me one then you will have broken my jinx with the buggers.

    Regards

hahahaha! yeah....Well, Queensland is a great state. People didn't like daylight savings, so they scrapped it. The same thing would probably happen with fishing licenses. The 'stupid' thing about Queensland is whoever introduced the 'Queensland - The SMART state' license plates for vehicles. I still haven't figured out whether the person that came up with the idea has rocks in his or her head or not. But for those that haven't seen the license plate on some QLD cars....the plates have maroon coloured writing, and it's got 'Queensland - the smart state' written on it.

I am interested in the research on the hooks for Mulloway and Yellowfin Bream
Fish mainly at North Beach Mylestom and the Bellinger River. Usually fishing twice weekly. Retired early from farming. Am also President of the Putt Bennett Family Fishing Festival here at Mylestom which is held each year in January. We did survey for Research at this years event through Mark James.
