I don't know how many guys read B'nB but Heath's column this month does a product breakdown (and I mean breakdown) on a reel.

Bloody terrific Heath keep them coming. Really good. I normally like reading your column but loved that one.

To many product tests in magazines pander to sponsors & don't truly put the product to the test & tell the truth.

A regular column like that would be appreciated.

Its nice to see someone calling it like they see it. the glossy mags never put in a bad word about any of the products tested. I think they are too afraid of offending major sponsors. I recall one editorial saying if a product failed their test they just did not write the report. Seems pretty pointless if you ask me. ???
Heath, your style of report adds credibility to the concept of product testing.

Have not seen Bush n Beach Magazine up Rocky way. Which reel did you review and what were the issues?

Reel reviewed was the Tica GT7000H.

Several issues as mentioned in the review was wear & tear of the reel, the drag and the flexing of the reel while under load.
