Leader - Mono/Wire
Looking for some leaders for the surf to use with slabs and livies. Anyone got any sugggestions, I'm thinking its going to be a bit hard to get something that covers all bases in terms of being tough enough not to get bitten of by tailor but, at the same time be soft enough not to scare the jew. In other words i would use wire so the tailor dont bite me off but thatll probably scare the jewwies, whereas on the other hand i'd use heavy mono so the jewwies arent spooked but the tailor would kill that. So anyhow unless there is some miracle leader out there, jsut wondering what wire you would suggest for the slabs and livies for tailor, and what mono and weighting for the jewwies.
Thanks

Would suggest using the heavier mono. Although tailor can bite through line if the hook is set early enough it may stop it from biting through. But if you really are desperate try the mono coated wire. Its stil very stiff but is not as bad as single strand wire.

There is always a risk everytime you cast out and therefore a compromise is required. I would go with the mono. At least you still then have a chance to nail a jew.
