I'm after some good quality weedless jigheads, preferably with owner or gama hooks. I have been to CBT, Springwood Marine & Mossops to no avail. If anyone knows where in Brisbane or Gold Coast I can get some it would be appreciated.

Are you chasing the Gamakatsu jig heads with the brush type weedguards?
They are available but very exy.
A cheaper alternative (and possibly works better) is to go with the worm style hooks such as the "pro select " type hooks, and use bullet weights.
This way your tow point is nearly totally weed free, and the hook point can be left just under the surface of the plastic. Thats about as weed free as they come, and cheaper.
squidgy just brought out some new jig heads . Got a lead head and a worm style hook as tony said. the look ok but a bit wiered when rigged. Not sure if this is what your after though
Thanks for the replies guys. With the sliding bullet weights do you just leave them free running or do you put some sort of stopper? I like the looks of those squidgy jigs although I'm not a big fan of the hooks they use but thats pretty much what I'm after.
I prefer to have the bullet weights free running in front of the hook so they cover the knot and tow point. Around snags in a slow current, they can be let to drop to the bottom, feed a little line out and they will float free of the weight, and can be left in the strike zone and lightly jerked and wiggled. As you retreive the weight is picked up again and covers the tow point.
tengals, i got mine from the big mart that cannot be named. You should be able to get it at most tackle shops... "Mad Dog" Router (sp?) is certainly mad! He's a crazy fella and gets pretty excited, but I found it really informative and he slowly goes through all sorts of stuff with an emphasis on showing you how it's done.
The Berkley dvd should be in most tackle shops shortly with a soft plastics kit.
Another head worth a look is the Nitro Atj jigs, with heavy duty gamakatsu hooks.
