    Reel Advice

hey everyone, i have come into possession of a TICA Aries GR4500H Hi-Speed threadline reel and usually fish plastics on my other 6lb outfit, what i wanna do is use this new reel for baitfishing and casting slugs. As i always fish landbased, what do u recommend i spool this reel with, im lookin at mono but just not sure what strength, was thinkin probably 6kg cos i wanna be able to pull big fish(jacks and jewies hopefully and the odd tuna, trevor or mack while spinning) but still wanna be able to cast a good distance. Just interested to hear others opinions...Carlos

    Re: Reel Advice

if you want to cast 6kg line any sort of distance you'd be better off using GSP lines rather than mono.

    Cheers, Roo.
