Every lure will handle a different speed , not only depth .
You can get shallow lures that handle high speeds , just as you can that will not .
Most good lures will say the speed and depth they troll at on the back of the pack .
As Gunna said , i too usually troll with big rapala CD's......I also use others like lively lures Blue Pilly ( awesome lure ), even the halco laser pro's do good , but the deep diving bent bibs really don't handle a bitof pace.
Should have stated that for lures of the same size. Don't have anything really in mind but was just wondering when looking at a few lures the other day. Say for example, the halco scorpion 150 range with 3 bib configs. which version will handle trolling faster. Is it safe to assume the shallowest running one will handle/blow out less when trolling fast?
