    Re: Braid preference

I'n the heavier line classes I like super braid and bionic, on the lighter side of things I prefer fireline. Have used livefibre braid, which I have no probs with either.

What was the problem? Bad knot strength? Abrasion resistance?

I only ask because I have used Fireline in the 20-30lb range for some time and never had a problem with it. Maybe you are using a different line class that isn't as good?

Wat problem's did u have with the fireline? you werent using fireline xds where u? because i admit that is a really $H!T line, but i have never heard anyone say a bad word about normal fireline. I love the stuff, never use anything other..... but i only use it in the breaking strains between 4lb and 10lb....

    Re: Braid preference

Have tried alot of different brands in a variety of strengths from 15lb to 50lb and find Bionic to be the best and longest lasting.

Nothing but 30lb or 50lb fins (green) for me. Excellent line strength and workability and have never had trouble with abrasion in the sticks.

Wouldn't use anything else after having tried several other brands.

    Re: Braid preference

i voted other as the new Sufix matrix pro isn't listed as well as some of the other jap branded braid like daiwa 8. BTW fireline shouldn't count as its not a true braid.
