    Rod for Calais?

    Will be getting a Shimano Calais Baitcaster as soon as I can save enough bloody $$$$$'s and was interested in some imput as what rod to put the bloody thing on. Was told about a t-curve bass pro, but not knowing much about them, I am interested in hearing some feedback about them or any other rod I can use with this reel. CHEERS WOODY.

    Sorry, should of told you's what I will be targiting with the set up. Basically Freshwater species with a bit of Saltwater mixed in for good luck.CHEERS woody

    I've got a calais on a g loomis SBR812 spinnerbait rod and find it a good match. Can handle any bass alive and casts barra lures very well.
