Depends where you are fishing, from a boat, a jetty, a beach etc. You will need to be a little more specific, is there any fish you would prefer to target etc. ?

Beach: flathead, whiting, bream, jew, tailor, dart
    Bait: pipis mainly

North point: lures and raides, any type of bait

Calm side: catch flathead with plastics and lures, use little stripeys for livey bait.

Mackeral around the beacons, amberjack in the combyouro drop off.

    Bulwer barge hole at night.

Tailor bite for heaps of dart.

Yeah unless you can really get good distance on the cast and let the current take it boat is pref.

youll need a decent surf rod, use that for most things, thats what we always did. You wont need no you beaut baitcasters or anything, if your only off the beach its gunna be a waste, you wont get distance. Just take a decwent surf rod, and maybe a 11'4 light estuary rod or something for lighter fishin off the beach while ur havin a beer watchin the sun go down.

I had a good run of Dart on the northern side of the Lighthouse.

Also got heaps of tailor on the beach where yellow patch is.

Last time I was there I was watching ppl Casting from the beach and catching Tuna just up from bulwer (sp) in the deeper channel.
