    You tease!!!

Well it's about that time of year and Have been tinkering with a few ideas about teasers. This is a design i've come up with. I hope it's going to perform the way it's intended, but if not it's back to the drawing board so to speak.
Give me your thaughts as they may well help me improve the design.
It's made from stainless that's been polished and has a couple of veins that will hopefuly make it spin and hopefuly will make a nice smoke trail....
The first disadvantage is that it is weighty and may not get up un the surface.
The second is that it will more than likley chip paint if not bought in with care..
    Any other pro's and con's???????????????

wieght maybe a bit of a concern, but at least when you get a hit and slow down it will not be floating around trying very hard to tangle your short flat line. Hope the deckies got big arms

There may be a bit of trick photography there gav! it's as round as say a tenis ball and about 200mm long.
Oh god i've left myself wide open there!

roota, why try to re invent the wheel
cant go past a witchdoctor for a subsurface teaser and a daisy chain of squids on the surface.

pretty tricky little bit of gear all the same.

With the amount of drag it will create, I think you'll be hard pushed to get a ball bearing swivel to take the twists out of the line. It'd make a fair disturbance, but consequently would be pretty hard to get in while you're running! I like to be able to give the engines a bit of gas if the fish jumps towards the boat, I think this device might not like going too quick! Would be interesting to see running none the less. Keep us informed on your progress.
