    reel service

Was just wondering if anybody could recommend a place on far northern suburbs of brisbane who will perform a reliable service at a good price. My abu C4 has few problems getting from freespool into gear and will not wind at all if any resistance is applied to the line, it went all of a sudden last time i was up at hinchinbrook but havent had time to get it fixed. Has anybody got any ideas to what the problem may be??

    Thanks

    Brady

    Re: reel service

    G`day Brady,
My names Mick and I live in Caboolture. If you need a hand with an Abu, I`ll be glad to help. Have had a few different ones over the years and regularly service them myself. Lived up in Weipa for a few years and would pull them apart to stop from getting bored.

I know the reputation of "backyarders" but would gladly pull apart my 6500c3 in front of you to show ya what to do. I also have a 6500 here that I use for parts. Give me a call on 0408878733 if ya want it fixed and I will also show you how to service it if ya want.

The charge for this enormous amount of info will be a massive total of 1 X sixpack of XXXX Gold which helps in the concentration (none)

    Cheers
    Mick
