Most of us guys have got a spare for the cupboard once the news come out. As for a replacement, I do not know. Stella maybe
I measured the amount of line per crank they pull in & found that I already have a reel that is close to it. More expensive than the TSS4 but less than a stella.
In short, I don't know

Definitely breakable! A large yft burned mine out on a 300m run. Maybe the seal that was chasing it had something to do with it too.

How much line per crank does a TSS4 take-up.....? I am keen to find out the figure ... cant do it myself as i do not own one.

I still have several blue series shakespeares that I use. Now if shimano could only make a real half as strong/smooth that would be a great reel
