    live fiber overhead

    can u use spin reals on one of these instead of an overhead. thanks in advance for info////// keith

    probably not.

    overhead rod will havelots of small guides starting with a small stripper guide ( 1 st guide from reel seat). this will limit casting distance if it works at all.

    get an overhead reel to suit the rod or get a spin rod to suit your reel.
