Short Split Sinkers
Hi all,
I'm new to the world of fishing. What are short split sinkers. I saw them in the become a better fisherman page on this site. All help needed.

Not.....100%....certain.....yet....so I will answer the question
I think you are actually wanting to know about split shot sinkers, which are small sinkers with a groove in them that can be crimped onto your line. Not a lover of using them myself.

Most people use them below a float to balance the float so that it is vertical in the water no horzintal. It may take a couple of times to get the balance rather then have to untie the knot to add more or take it off it is just a matter of crimping and they are quite samll weights so they are perfect for this

Thanks heaps guys. I was just not sure about them on the flathead rig on the become a better fisherman page on this site.
