Its finally nearly here! The tinnie and tackle show! I missed out last year due to my boss hacing a severe medical problem. He seemed to have a large stick up his......But this year i have planned ahead and got it off on annual leave. Now my question is this; I have heard that there are some good sales at this thing for rods reals and lures. Is this true, or am i going to not be bowled over by the low prices and huge stock?
Typically a fair bit of competition and some retailers will cut prices to match each other - there will be bargains to be had if you know your prices and shop arround.
I think the big gain is seeing the variety and all the new stuff.
Also looking at the boats getting ideas and dreaming which you would by if your balls dropped.
I must admit to being a little excited at going to the show as well. As you will see in the boating thread I am looking at purchasing a new boat as well some electronics etc.
The theme from my thread is that you should know your product and prices before going to the show and only then will you know if you are getting a bargin or not.
I had a look at the program guide and there appears to be some good presentations on as well so I will plan ahead to make sure I don't miss out on those as well.
Hell yeah! Have been looking at ave prices for bits and pieces so should be alright. And the presentations should be awesome! Would have loved to have gone today to hear talk on Mud isl. Well i hope you all have fun there!
I've just got a leave from my boss to catch the "Preparing for and fishing the barramundi stocked dams" presentation this afternoon. should be interesting.
