I would give this rod the first prize for the worst designed blank ever in the history of the industry.

Wow, makes me feel good seeing my 2 piece $80 10kg ugly stick under longtail load. Perfect curve !!!

Fishn-Dan thats an insult to E.Grell rods as they are custom made and dont have arcs like that in them.Live fibre guide spacings are a bitt odd at times but a custom live fibre is great. Graham

Was not meaning to insult them at all... Have never actually seen one, but have read heaps of reports on them about how they load up differently in different parts of the rod.

Was just a wild stab in the dark while being distracted by Webby's disproportionate belly!

Just thought i give you some further input in the rod in question.
Tested it to its full extent on the weekend with a LT and victory went to the LT with the rod suffering the humilliation of breaking, and not where i though it would give.
A one piece might have handled the LT with a better working curve but this one didnt
Back to the drawing board for this 4-6kg Live Fibre.

    Hi Webby,

That's no good mate. Do you think it'll be covered by warranty? It doesn't sound like you've been doing anything other than what it's designed for - fighting fish.

Please let us know, if you don't mind that is.

    Thanks,
    Mike
