Thread: Jackall Lures

    Re: Jackall Lures

Most of you who no me no i'm not into plastics in any big way, but since being introduced to the Jackals a month or so ago, i've found them to be dynamite on a variety of species, and will admit they work better then any of my so called other plastic trips.
Legal Squire/Flathead/Cod and even a Tuskie i've managed to land on these lures, but the susprise last trip was when i actually caught doggie mackerel with them.
They werent interested in the slow retreive, but as soon as you sped up your retreive, they nailed it.
Yes the mackerel made mix meat of the plastic, but those treble sure do work.
There a expensive little item at around $24 a pop and for anyone on the average wage, they could be out of their price range.
In two trips i have lost a couple, making for an expensive trips.
But im am very impressed with what will actually go for them, i'm now looking around to find something similiar that looks like a Jackal, so if anyone know please post.
    regards
PS Flea get your old man to buy a few, and we can use them on the 13th may
    regards

    Re: Jackall Lures

You guys obviously havnt had the success with Jackall as ive had .

Ive got some top rattlers with some wicked actions in my lure collection, about the only rattler that kills the Jackall is my Kokoda Gold rattler. Top lure it is. I think im right in saying that Jackall is a fairly technical lure to fish with, i know ive had to tweak around with my Jackalls for them to fish well. But if youve got them handy, youve got the right gear, youve got the right spot, AND YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR F'ING DOIN, then you'll catch plenty.

Cheers for leaving the subject in my hands matt. back to the books for you, big fella
