I have a couple 9500ss reels and one jamed up. Apon inspection I find the Silent Dog part # 4A-750 is damaged as well as the cogs on the Ratchet part # 10-9500. I filed the damaged cogs down and straightened the silent dog as best i could but i can only get the reel to work with the Clicking Dog engaged. This won't do
I asked the local shop to order the parts for me and i know they are going to be dear.
Does anyone know of a good place to to order part from?
I will check online but first i thought to check here.
Or if anyone has a 9500ss for parts, that would be good too if the price is right.
Yeah the anti-reverse is always a bit of a weakness with the spinfishers. The part shouldn't be expensive though. I got the anti-reverse part for a 4500 spinfisher from Erskines for the princely sum of $5. Try your local tackle shop and ask them to order the part for you - probably won't be as expensive as you think.
