Hi folks,

I need some help here....currently got a Shimano BTR 4500B and would like to know whether Silstar Graphite Surf 13 ft rod be suitable for beach and rock fishing, and i would like some feeback on the Silstar rod as well.

Here is my current outfit...
Daiwa SOL 2500, Shimano BTR 4500B

I wanted to get get a back up reel either from Daiwa Exceler 4000 or Shimano Symetre FI 4000, can i use the above reels for beach or river fishing??? and i would like some comments on those 2 reels as well.
