    Downrigger advice Moreton Bay

Hi guys - looking for views on use of downriggers in the Bay, particularly top end moreton. Are these a worthwhile bit of tackle, and where/ when / how to best use them? Also, if you know of some brands that are reaonably priced and OK, would like to hear about it - BCF have a few, wioth a price range from around $200 - almost $2000 (electric!!)

Webby talked a bit about downriggers at the meeting on Wednesday. I have just posted one for sale if you are interested.

If you can wait a few weeks for delivery, have a look at importing one from someone like Cabelas at around 40% of the price you will pay in an Aussie store for the same item. (Scottys in my case)

I bought one this way a couple of years ago and was very satisfied with the buying and delivery experience.
