im in the process of selling tackle in the UK that i wont use when i finally travel to brizzy and need some help / advice as to what to replace the rods / reels with.
The dealers will offer me more for my stuff if i trade them in for other stuff.
i have been looking at the ugly stik range of rods by shakespeare and would welcome comments as to what model/s i should need for different types of fishing as if they are regarded as worth having !.
i can buy an ugly stik gold for £30 here ( $72 aprrox ) not sure how this fares with brisbane prices ??

Sounds similar to what you would pay here if you shop around, only you won't have to pay to ship it out here There are better rods on the market here, better to wait till you get here then make a decision on what types of fishing you will be doing.
Definitely worth waiting until you get here before you start buying new gear - once you are here you might decide that beach fishing it your thing or you are more into estuaries or going offshore. Each will need different gear so not much point buying stuff in the UK.
