    I have got a Symetre 4000 at the moment, it is very smooth and the ratio is quite good. But Daiwa has better drag power, so depends what you want to use it for.

    i also have a symetre 4000, it landed me my first snapper so i back it... havent used the daiwa so i cant compare sorry mate...

    I was thinking of getting either one of them for beach/surf and river.
    It will be more likely to match with Silstar Surf Cast rod 12 or 13 ft rod.
