Hi Jono,
My self and Mark, of Raggin Bull, fame have used the super 100 on all manners of fish and have had no problems and the bonus is you can fit so much more on your spool.

I use it for all types of fishing except game fishing. The only slight drawback is the knot strength is not as good as normal diammeter lines. You can get around this by tying a bimini double before making your conections.

Personally speaking Jono, I'd be more incline to go with 20lb Platypus Platinum if using a spin outfit in the estuaries with a 60cm length of at least 60lb Platypus game leader as tropical creeks can be brutal areas. Change trace poundage to suit your location and species likely to be encounted.
Otherwise 15lb Super-100 is just fine for sportfishing, catch and release, etc, on a baitcast outfit where line cappacity is of major importance.
I often use 20lb Platinum for barra at Lake Awoonga, good knot strength, castability and generally good abrasion wise around the sticks.
