Anybody want to bet against my $1 that the bottom hook on average takes the most fish whether it is wire or mono?

I wouldn't have a clue, I am usually floatlining or using a runner sinker.. so I guess my bottom hook on average does take the most fish

I appreciate where the "wire less bites" guys are coming from, but has anyone ever used them on a dropper?

    Good luck mate.

In wire's defence, there have been times in the past where we thought there was still a danger of catching jackets, so on went the wire droppers. Plenty of times we caught good fish on the same heavy wire rigs, without a jacket.
Maybe not so much less bites, but less sensitivity.

Finding_time, we use big gun 1/0s & they still manage to bend a few of those up in a couple of hours fishing.

Will be glad when they dissappear back to where they came from.
