beware of buying SPs from overseas :(

I recently saw a bulk quantity of grubs on ebay and thought they looked pretty good, and the price was great so I bid on them, won them, paid for them, and then today I got a letter from customs saying that my lures are being held under quarantine until the manufacturer(whoever they may be) submits a letter on their company letter head from one of the directors of the company stating that the lures contain no organic or biological material. I wish I had known this before, not holding my breath for a response from these people as they are in singapore and probably don't speak english. Who knows, miracles have happened... havn't they?

Very well done canoodle hopefully you will have them soon. When I order from the states they have been sent via USPS and labelled as assorted fishing tackle by the manufacture and they havent ever had a problem.

I recently got a package from a USA company containing some samples of SP's that I had asked for. The package was opened by AQIS and was inspected. I had no problems with it.

The SP's I got are from a company called Bearpaws Custom Poured Baits.

Here is a link to Bearpaws -

    www.bearpawshandpouredbaits.com/

When I finally get to test the baits I will post a report for all to see.

    Cheers
    James

Nah, I don't fish from a Canoe these days mate, and wasnt at scotts point either, although I was wishing I was, had no luck at the Pine, wrong tide, too much run for flatties, found a bit of bait boiling up in a bit of slack water, but no luck.
This is my vehicle of choice these day.
