Would they suit a rather small female hand, and is it worth the upgrade from standard?
Have to buy from plat, so i can't get a feel of one without flying to japan
they come standard on the new saltiga dog fights and the expeditions mate so if u go into the local tackle shop who has a tournament dealershi they will be able to show u
Recently went to Japan where I picked up a 4500H Saltiga. I checked out all the aftermarket handles but didn't end up getting one. They're not cheap, but then again neither are the reels (though in Japan they're a lot cheaper than Aus). The standard ones are pretty good, and the only noticable difference for me is looks. Whether it's worth it will probably come down to how much you like the look of them, they'll suit any sized hand.
Got the 4500H from Fishing Max in Wakayama for 53660 Yen, which is about $612 Aus. Couldn't knock it back at that price. The flash handle was another 50 bucks or so.
