i,ve been going thru this for a while i still prefer braid for better feel and control but only in deep water 60m+ refer to my post in offshore reports. offshore moreton bag out . i was using braid my deckie was using mono we both caught 5 fish each but i caught the biggest 5 on the braid. i think you have more control over your bait with braid and thats what floatlining is about.
