im with you mate i run stren on all my game outfits , awesome line and igfa rated and use maxima igfa and platy pretest in the creeks and have no problems , i actually got a 6.8 kg gutted and gilled northern blue on 2kg pretest in the nth qld's after that the line was stuffed . Go the Stren for any blue water though.

smithy I have stren gold on one of my tld50's and I will agree with you, its great line, I would probably use it all the time but hawk is cheaper and never had a problem.

I've used hawk line for 28 years with no problems. Platypus braid and recently shimano technium wich is hard to beat.

I've recently started using Momoi line (tournament rated) & also Momoi leader. So far so good, with low line memory. Anybody else have any thoughts on it???
