classics, halco scorpians, Reidys B52's, etc.
they will eat just about anything, its just some people (me and others) have/choose favourites that have been successful consistantly. It depends on what time of year your going to for different depth that the fish commonly sit at and during the hoter months you will want somthing that will be able to get you down to around about 8 - 12 feet.

I am assuming you mean hard body lures, poppers etc. I will be going to the Brisbane Boat show this weekend and trying to see what deals I can make. I will be in the market for approx. 15 barra lures, rod, net, leaders, terminal etc so hopefully someone will give me a good price.
I will probably visit Sundown Marine's stand as they have always been competitive on price, with a fairly good range.
cheers

Lures catch more fisherman than fish.
Thats why we all have more lures than we really need.
Last trip to Awoonga what worked for us Were Halco Scorpions, Predatek Vipers and a couple of 5m 80cm lures.
Colours were early in morning silvers and golds. Midday more catches on Elton johns (Multi bright colour) with most of the really big fish including a couple still swimming around up there on redheads.
Some of the guides who are even getting lures from manufacturer painted totally white. Guess that might be the new go.
Upgrade hooks, rings and 50lb braid with 80lb leaders. But what about next year, supposed we will have to upgrade.
Guess that means new gear.
Boy show me the tackle shop.

Fish for the future, enjoy the present but think of your children.
Flatz Rat 10+ only not 15+, Barra Baits for trolling.
Tropic Angler Large Floaters in Chrome and Pearl now, moving into the Gold's and Natural coluors come Spring/Summer. SWIK soft plastics in the 10cm size for rolling over the weedbeds. Try the 'Livebait' or 'Chartruese Livebait' colours.
Barra classic 15+, halco scorpions 5m to crazy deep, halco poltergiest 5m in pink and black, vipers, smiking jacks deep 15s and jaysea patriot 80's have all been good to me.
