I've been using the Hercules braid and it's great. I had a dud batch of Fireline and in desperation bought some Hercules braid from Kay Mart. No probelms at all. I've been using on snapper plastic fishing for about 2 months and have not broken at the knot or had any problems. Mate it's half the price of Fireline and not as stiff.

Using hercules braid at the moment too - no problems with it either

Hercules braid is made by Suffix lines.

if you want some very good quality braid...save up your pennys and get some yamatoyo braid. its about $60.00 for a spool of 150 yards but well worth it!
made up of 8 fibres instead of 4 and alot thinner than usually braid.
best braid ive used...and its so smooth.
    cast all day with it

I'm not sure that Jarvis Walker Hercules line is the same as Suffix Herculine. The Suffix Herculine seems to be a woven braid and the Hercules seems to bea fused GSP like Fireline

Hi mark have not seen fireline anywhere cheaper than big w unless there is a % sale off a other places, they are now starting to stock the new crystal range and nitro jig heads.
