medium game rig needed

I am after advice on a medium game rig setup. I like the look of the Tyrnos 30 with a t curve 15-24kg rod. What do others use.

I am also in the market for the same size rig and am intrested in what people think.
I would be using mine for Trolling for macks and the like.

The shimano tld range is good - if you go for the single speed, reasonably priced - 2 speed....save your $$ For smaller macks, etc., I use a Penn 330gti - you can often find combo sales at various tackle shops for these - usually under $150. For larger fish, trolling, using TLD 25 on a 20kg rod - again, you should pick these up around the $250 mark as combos. Lawry

Hey aw65,

I was on a bit of a budget so went for a TLD25 matched with a Penn Senator standup 15-24 kg.I put platypus pink mono on the reel. The guys at Sundown Marine realy looked after me for price.

the tld25 with a livefiber 15-24kg rod you cant go wrong. the tlds are a top reel for the price
that you can get them for now.
