Have a 2500 and love it
couldnt justify another certate at the time

The twinpower and sustain 1000's are pretty much the same size from memory. They are both quite small reels and very light. So far nothing to complain about the sustains. But at the end of the day I am a Shimano man which seems to make the decisions easy.

hey troy im a shimano man all my reels are shimano abd i use a sustain for bream fishing but i would have to go the sol casue there drag are much smother from wat if felt at the shops

my SP set up is a 2 piece T-curve 6'6" 2-5kg rod with a team diawa TDR 2508 reel which is a similar reel to the diawa sol,im ver happy with the rod and reel and would buy another one.
so i would say go the SOL but then again i have never played with any decent shimano's
