    Rod advice please

    Looking at replacing current boat rod for a new one. Can anyone comment on the quality of a rod by the name of "PENN SPORTS" i AM LOOKING AT THE 6 - 8 KG.They feel good, loads up ok, fuji guides and the price is right, just after some advice from fishos with more experience than me in this area.

    I currently own 12 penn rods and am not overly happy with any of them...have snapped 1...and broken 5 gimbells of so far...getting them replaced under warranty isn't a problem ...more of a pain...

    I have now switched back to Shimano...cheers mick
