    Bionic Braid

    Hi guys,

Just wondering whether anyone has tried any of the bionic braid recently. I have used it in the past and found it to be great stuff, no problems at all. However, i just got a new spool of it, and i don't know whether it is a new formula or not but this stuff is just garbage.

The pink colour is all coming off and it is causing little lumps in my line as i wind in. I'm thinking about writing to the suppliers but just wanted to check if anyone else had the same problems....

    Cheers, Lloyd

Hey there gonegonefishin. Yeah I did an identical thread to this one in the tackle section because I was asking for advice so here is a link so you can have a read of what was said if you haven't already done so. Regards,

    Re: Bionic Braid

thanks mate i didn't realise but it is exactly what im talking about. That pink residue that people talk about never happened with my first spool, and i find that if you guide the line onto the reel with your fingers it makes lumps where it all catches up on itself. It is only 12lb that i use on a daiwa luna, i like fishing light, but i can still say that it is great stuff. I haven't tried many 100% braids, because i have always been happy with this one. Might be time to make a change.....
Does anyone know where to get 4lb superbraid???

    Cheers, Lloyd.

The Platypus 4lbs superbraid can be a bit hard to source.

You best bet is to get your favourite tackle store to order in what you need.
