How do you throw a cast net

I am very interested in learning to throw a cast net but everyone seems to have their own way of throwing them. I have veiwed the 2 ways of throwing them from this web site (which I shall try and practice) but I am also interested in how other people throw.

I have been shown to throw the net by putting it over the sholder but then I have also been told that this is a harder way of throwing a net and that there is much simpler ways to do it. Is there any web sites around that maybe show a short video clip on how to do it? Even some words of advise to steer me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
