    Problems making sinkers

    Tried making my first sinkers but when i go to pour the lead into the moulds it is going hard to quick.
    Any ideas.

    Preheat your mould a tad or a few bad pours will do the job for you. moulds take a bit of warming to take a good pour.Once mould is warmed up sufficiently heat can be reduced a smidgeon in the main lead pot..

    troy i usually open molds up pour lead into them first to heat them up that usually does the job for me

    can be very frustrating at times but once the mold is warm enough its sweet as

    just put ya moulds around the burner whilst the lead is heating up. very rare you'll have a dud pour doing it this way!

    Finally got your moulds eh matey
    So how many did you make today??

    I tried some of the e-bay tips mentioned in your thread about ebay and Blazes suggestion works like a treat

    I'll have about 60 of the number 2 beans and about the same number of number 1 beans thanks
