Wello Reef Report 17th Feb 02

Another great days fishing in paradise......We headed for our Wello location again this morning at 7 am.......not the earliest of starts........The bay was calm with the breeze from the southeast.......Conditions were better than saturday and the fish were on the chew.
From 7am until 11am we caught 17 nice fish.......we could have caught heaps more but we had to get home in time for the Ausfish meet and greet bbq that afternoon.
The catch consisted of 3 squire and14 sweetlip.....biggest squire went 40cms and the sweetlip 37cms......prefered bait was mullet flesh ,WA pilchard and squid .
Thanks to Steve and the Ausfish team for a great afternoon.
That steak was the best ive eaten in a long while Steve !!
