Marlin caught in the Logan River

At about 3pm Sunday a small black marlin was hooked at Marks Rocks in the Logan River.
The angler was using a live mullet intended for a jew when the marlin picked up the bait and made several leaps clear of the water.
This was seen by several anglers in nearby boats.
After about 20 minutes the fish was brought beside the boat then released.
This is the second recorded catch of a marlin in the Logan in 12 months - the last report was on this same day last year.
