Sandgate Pier 14/8/02

Hey guys
headed out to Sandgate Pier at around 2:25pm got there setted up and was ready to go at 3:30pm started off by catching a good sized chopper tailor but I released it anyway I tryed until around 5:00pm without even a touch so I went down to the platform at the end of the Pier and did some bait jigging. Caught a few Hardies and other small fish but that was about it. I was using white pillies for bait. Left the pier about 6:00pm.
But nonetheless was a great out

great to see u got out jack more then i did but thats another story eh..days like that when u release a keeper u could kick yaself..but hey it will be bigger next time..like you said its great to get out..n if u get a keeper later in the day its the icing on the cake..tite lines bud..

Yes Jack as JB said u wet a line.I sat around all day waiting 4 a computer guy to turn up who was supposed to be here at 8.30am. Tried ringing him all day but couldn't get him,he finally rang me at (Get this) 5.30pm.what a prick.
Anyway that pier has a good reputation like the Woody point jetty used to have...not sure if it still fishes as well as it used too.... maybe someone might fill us in.
That tailor u released would have been nice in the pan mate.

Hey grunt maybe the puter guy decided to go fishing eh LOL... no need to feel guilty jack..there will be times u will want to go fishing but for various reasons wont be able too..enjoy it while you can
